This project covers the technological development of a PEM printer (Paste Extrusion Modeling).
Our company acted as the central source of ideas, initiator and driving force behind the entire solution. Through targeted technological optimisation and engineering innovation, the polyurethane multi-component process was lifted to a new level of performance and efficiency.
The system is designed specifically for large-format additive manufacturing. The printer uses two-component polyurethane binders and processes a range of granulates with grain sizes of up to 2.0 mm. Depending on the mixing ratio and material, parts can be printed to cure either elastic or rigid.
