Execution is Everything.

Substance is built by people.

JSTec's expertise is no coincidence. It has an origin — in the career of its founder Jörg Siekmann. A path from the craft trades through three engineering disciplines to leading international technology companies. This is the foundation on which JSTec stands.

Groundedness

From craft to systems expertise

Jörg Siekmann did not begin his career at a desk, but at the workbench: with an apprenticeship as a machine fitter. Those who first understand technology with their hands make better decisions about it later. On this foundation he built a rare knowledge profile over nine years — Dipl.-Ing. in Mechanical Engineering (FH Bielefeld, 1992), Dipl.-Wirtschaftsingenieur in Industrial Engineering (FH Bielefeld, 1994) and Dipl. Environmental Scientist (University of Bielefeld, 1997, overall grade “very good”), complemented by qualification as a certified accountant (1999).

This combination is the DNA of JSTec: the depth of the engineer, the level-headedness of the businessman and an eye for resources and sustainability — united in one person. Technology that pays off. Solutions that hold.

Stability

Two decades of reliability

Substance shows itself in constancy. In materials and sports technology alone, Jörg Siekmann was active for 24 years — and he reached the top there not as a technician, but through the figures: from controller to head of finance and accounting, to commercial director and plant manager. Since 2004 he has held managing-director responsibility without interruption — by now over 20 years: first for internationally active groups for sports flooring and artificial-turf systems, and since 2021 seamlessly at the head of a leading provider of technical education.

This period includes the tasks by which leadership is truly measured: carving a plant out of an international corporate group, integrating a company group and restructuring the Polish and British holdings. Anyone who delivers that over two decades without a break knows both — the long breath of product development and the discipline of the economic result. It is precisely this reliability that JSTec brings to every project.

Proven substance

Results, not promises

The founder's signature is visible — on the biggest stages of sport. The blue running-track granulate “Berlin Blue” became the stage for world records in Berlin's Olympiastadion and is an international standard today. The infill granulate Bionic Fibre® gave the artificial turf in the 2015 World Cup final stadium a natural-grass-like playing feel. Several patents for environmentally friendly artificial-turf infills prove it: here things are not merely thought up, but delivered.

This ability to turn an idea into a real, working product is the core of the JSTec promise: Execution is Everything.

“A working prototype beats any hundred-page specification sheet. Whoever wants to create something new must experiment, adapt and implement — until it holds in practice.”
