Smart Robotics Module System
A fully autonomous, modular robotic system for centimetre-accurate area maintenance. Using 3D drone scans and freely interchangeable tool modules, the rover adapts to every new task.
One Brain, Endless Applications
Maintaining large areas and professional facilities is a varied and enormously resource-intensive job. Rather than developing a dedicated special machine for every task — from mowing and line marking to snow clearing — the vision was a universal, intelligent platform.
The solution starts in the air: a drone first produces a precise 3D scan of the terrain. From that data, the mission planner computes the exact operating profile. The autonomous rover then positions itself to the centimetre via GPS and a local RTK network.
The real breakthrough lies in the hardware design: brain and drivetrain sit in the central rover, while the tools required simply dock on as plug-and-play modules.
Breaking With the Rigid Machine Fleet
The aim was a future-proof and maximally flexible ecosystem. Customers should no longer have to invest in an expensive fleet of rigid, highly specialised machines.
Instead, they invest in a central, learning platform that grows with its tasks. New requirements — winter service or irrigation, for example — are integrated simply by adding another hardware module. The intelligence stays the same.
System Components in Detail
Drone scan, mission planning and modular rover form a closed loop: the terrain is captured digitally, the route is computed to the centimetre and the work is carried out fully automatically — mowing, sweeping, spraying or clearing, depending on the module docked.
